Net Zero Methane Hub

Upcoming Event

Coordinated by IFEAA, the Hub focuses on five core activities:

  • Initiate a supply chain of net zero methane producers and users sharing the latest research and showcasing methane capture technology.
  • Identify innovation and research needs for methane capture and use technology, growing new research and development collaborations.
  • Grow finance opportunities formethane capture and use technology, linking with the finance community to encourage investment.
  • Support skills development by highlighting higher and further education needs. Visit local schools and engage with communities to grow understanding of the approach.
  • Share Hub outcomes with local and national policymakers to support evidence-based policy, host a Net Zero Methane Hub Conference in Cornwall.

The Hub is funded by The UK Shared Prosperity Fund, a central pillar of the UK Government’s Levelling Up agenda and provides £2.6 billion of funding for local investment by March 2025. Signup to Net Zero Methane Hub

This project is part-funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund. Cornwall Council has been chosen by Government as a Lead Authority for the fund and is responsible for monitoring the progress of projects funded through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.
